Best Places to Work Remotely in Deal, Kent

Working from home is great, but sometimes you need to get away from the same 4 walls of the house, that's why I have compiled this list of locations of where to work from in Deal, Kent.

I plan to add more locations to this list once I try them out, as I have a dog I tend to stick to ones that allow dogs so I can have her with me.

The Royal Hotel

This hotel is right on the seafront with places to work inside and out side, friendly staff and cosy atmosphere make it a brezze to work from. It gets busy around lunch time so it's best to work there in the morning or late afternoon.

P.S Female business owners there is a monthly ladies who latte there which I attend on a semi regular basis for networking.

Starbucks

Your typical starbucks, nice and quite in the mornings and plenty of room and plug sockets. Staff are friendly and polite and love dogs.

Deal Library

A few places to sit around in the quiet area and near the front of the library, there are some plug sockets around and free Wifi (although this can be a bit hit and miss, I reccomend using your phone). You can also get an extra hours pass so that you can get in when its closed (after 7am) See more about the extra hour pass here.

Middle Street Coffee

Sweet little coffee shop opposite the library, the owner and staff are very chatty and can get busy at times. There are a few tables you could work from (bring headphones if you need to focus) and lovely coffee, I recommend grabbing one before heading to the library.

The Waterside Café

If you really need to get away from it all head to the Waterside Cafe in sandwich fishing lakes (5-10 Minuet drive from Deal), just charge your laptop before you go. Take a break and walk around one of the many lakes, peaceful and beautiful place to be.
