Scott Tift - Pickleball Coach
Before and After

Project Overview
Scott Tift Pickleball
Scott Tift isn't just a client, he's my pickleball coach, so building this site was a genuinely fun one to work on.
Scott had built up a serious reputation in the pickleball world, 18 years coaching, a role as Director of School Development for Pickleball England, and links to brands like Pickleball Complete Academy and Pickleball Escapes. But none of that was reflected online. If you Googled his name, nothing came up. Everything about him, his coaching offers, his socials, his story, was scattered across different platforms with no single place to find it.
The brief was simple: build one site that could act as his home base. Something that would rank when people searched his name, pull together every strand of what he does, and give him a place to send people, whether that's a prospective 1:1 client, a school, or someone following his Instagram.
What I built
It's a one-page site built in Framer, designed to work as a scrollable story rather than a traditional multi-page structure, fitting for a personal brand where the "story" is really the point.
Scott came to me with a general direction for colours and theme, and I took that and built out the shapes, layout, and animation on top of it. The result is a site that feels energetic and modern without losing the personal, straight-talking tone that comes through in how Scott coaches.
Key sections include:
- An about section telling Scott's story, from 18 years coaching school sport to going all in on pickleball with no backup plan
- A services section breaking down 1:1 coaching, group coaching, and Pickleball Escapes
- A community section covering his work building pickleball in Kent and his role with Pickleball England
- A live Instagram feed, added at Scott's request, sitting halfway down the page to keep the content fresh and give visitors an easy way to see his day-to-day coaching in action
- A contact section with a form, direct contact details, and links out to every relevant social and booking channel
The result
Everything Scott needs people to find, his story, his services, his socials, and a way to get in touch, now lives in one place instead of being spread across platforms. It's built to be the first thing that comes up when someone searches his name, and it gives him a proper home to point people to, whether that's a new client, a school, or a journalist.
Project Development Journey
I started by designing the page in Figma, my preferred way to work since it gives me more control over how images look and lets me move faster than building straight into Framer. Once the design was locked in, I moved it over to Framer to build it out properly, adding animation across the different sections and making sure it worked responsively across devices.
